This Sportive is the start of the Oisans trophy event and a good training day for the Marmotte Granfondo which is held a week later. There are three categories available in this event being the Prix des Rousses (40km and 1600m ascent), Senior (112km) and the Master (175km). The Master route includes the Alpe du Grande Serre (1368m), Col d'Ornon (1360m), Alpe d'Huez (1860m), Col de Sarenne (1991m) and finishes in Vaujany (1234m)
