Lyon - Saint Exupery Airport (LYS) is located next to a major motorway network on the outskirts of Lyon about thirty minutes drive to Lyon city centre. It is the third largest airport in France and offers many flights for business and tourists alike. Access is very good to this airport with a train station within a short walk of the two terminals.
If you have a very early flight departure or late flight arrival you may want to stay in one of the hotels located within a short walk of the terminals and train station. Some offer a shuttle service if you have lots of luggage to transport.
Most of the major airlines use this airport all year round such as British Airways, EasyJet, Flybe, Air France and KLM to name a few with more budget flights on offer for the Winter ski season.
