Vaujany is located at 1250m above sea level facing the Grandes Rousses massif. Located 50km from Grenoble it is situated in the heart of the Oisans region. Skiing from Vaujany is linked to the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine which offers access to 249kms of pisted runs, 944 snow cannons and a maximum uplift to 3,300m to the Pic Blanc summit. From the Pic Blanc you can try the Tunnel Black run with its 35 degree gradient or the Sarenne black run which at 16 kilometres long and is the longest black piste in Europe. There is a real mix of skiing available suiting all abilities ranging from the 41 green pistes to the many off-piste opportunities that exist. You can even arrange heli-skiing if you wish from Alpe d’Huez altiport. The other ski resorts in the Grand domaine ski area which are accessible from Vaujany are Oz en Oisans, Villard Reculas and Auris.
