Alpe d’Huez Haute Route 2018

Event dates: 13th to 15th July 2018

This event is held over three days and consists of three stages.

13/07/18 The first stage is a time trial starting in Bourg d’Oisans (725m altitude) and ascending Alpe d’Huez (1860m altitude). The distance is 14km with 1135m of ascent.

14/07/18 The second stage is a circuit of 152km with a total ascent of 4300m. The start descends from Alpe d’Huez (1860m) and then the route climbs over Col du Glandon (1924m), descends down the other side then climbs back over Col de croix de fer (2067m) and finishes again in Alpe d’Huez.

15/07/18 The third and final stage is 80km with 3260m of ascent. The start is in Bourg d’Oisans then ascending to Les Deux Alpes (1652m) then descends again before starting the climb to Col de Sarenne (1999m) then on to the finish at Lac Besson (2017m in Alpe d’Huez)
